Security of supply: We operate the Swiss transmission system and are responsible for the operation, security and expansion of the 6700 kilometre long high-voltage grid in the heart of Europe.

Electricity marketplace: Electricity cannot be stored; production and consumption have to be balanced at all times. Our electricity marketplace ensures a balance between electricity producers and consumers.

Renewable energy: Sustainable electricity production is important to the people of Switzerland. Swissgrid makes green electricity tradable and brings it to the grid.
