Consultation

Aim and purpose

When introducing a new concept or contract document, Swissgrid intends to actively involve external stakeholders in drafting the content and/or reviewing the relevant documents. The purpose of conducting a consultation process and engaging in dialogue with stakeholders is to draw on expert knowledge and by doing so increase its chance of success at each subsequent stage (implementation, signing of documents, etc.).

 

Consultation process stages:

  • Each consultation process (for new contracts, amendments to existing contracts, concepts, etc.) is conducted via the official Internet platform of Swissgrid.
  • The consultation process should be conducted within an appropriate and realistic timeframe.
  • Each external comment received is evaluated by Swissgrid from a judicial, legal and technical point of view.
  • All participants in the consultation process receive an anonymous analysis including an evaluation of all comments received.
