Swissgrid receives «Prime» status in the ISS ESG sustainability rating

The sustainability rating agency ISS ESG has awarded Swissgrid «Prime» status for its sustainability performance. In doing so, it confirms Swissgrid’s commitment to placing the emphasis on sustainability in its activities.

The sustainability agency ISS ESG has awarded Swissgrid «Prime» status. Its assessment is based on information disclosed by Swissgrid regarding its sustainability performance. The award means that Swissgrid’s sustainability performance has been rated as above average in an industry comparison by the rating agency ISS ESG. By giving the company «Prime» status, ISS ESG has qualified Swissgrid’s tradable bonds as responsible investments.

«It is part of Swissgrid’s business strategy to act in a sustainable and responsible manner. Having enjoyed excellent credit ratings for many years, receiving ESG «Prime» status also confirms our efforts to strengthen our sustainability performance. We are delighted by this news,» says Doris Barnert, CFO and Head of Corporate Services at Swissgrid.
