The network situation on the Iberian Peninsula has no impact on the Swiss transmission grid. Frequency variations in the European power grid were also measurable in Switzerland, but there were no supply interruptions. Swissgrid did not need to take any measures for its own grid but offered support to the Spanish grid operator and is in close contact with neighboring countries. For the Swiss power grid, this was not an exceptional situation. Currently, there are also no effects on the Swiss transmission grid. The affected grid operators have initiated a root cause analysis.
