Swissgrid implements Strategy 2022 and reorganises business units
Swissgrid is implementing its Strategy 2022 as communicated in spring and continuing to develop as an organisation. This includes organisational adjustments with effect from 1 January 2019 to achieve further improvements in efficiency and professionalisation of the company.
Windstorm Vaia causes damage in the transmission grid
Windstorm Vaia caused damage last night in Switzerland's transmission grid. In total six Swissgrid lines were impacted by the windstorm. Grid security is ensured.

The Board of Directors of Swissgrid has resolved to acquire further parts of the transmission grid as of 3 January 2019 and will propose the capital increase required for this purpose to shareholders.
Implementation of «Strategic Grid 2025» is progressing
The implementation of «Strategic Grid 2025» is progressing well: Construction of two important line projects from «Strategic Grid 2025» will begin at the end of August.

Swissgrid shareholders approve all the proposals of the Board of Directors
All the proposals by the Board of Directors were approved at today's Annual General Assembly of Swissgrid Ltd. A dividend totalling CHF 29.4 million will be distributed for the 2017 financial year.
