Important information
The Swissgrid EIC Office will implement the following changes on 01.05.2026:
- Introduction of a new page for EIC X-type codes (Energy Community) with the functions LEG, vZEV, ZEV, Consumer and LEG/(v)ZEV Service Provider.
Please note that all codes whose first function is one of the functions mentioned above will henceforth be published on the «X-Codes (Energy Community)» page and no longer on the «X Codes (Party)» page. - Removal of the «X Codes (Party)» without multifunction file, which has become obsolete since the introduction of the file containing multiple functions at the end of 2024.
- Addition of the «Media» column for X-type and Y-type codes. This field indicates the market for which a code is used, for example the electricity market (Electricity) or the gas market (Gas).
This change may have an impact on the CSV and XML files published on and available for download from our website.
