The transmission system operators of continental Europe have decided to synchronise the transmission systems of Ukraine and Moldova with the continental European power system.

Together with a team of experts, Swissgrid has carried out a study on the different types of cable technology in the transmission grid. The solution catalogue – entitled «line construction kit» – in-cludes several innovative designs.

On 30 August Swissgrid Ltd successfully placed a bond in the shorter maturity segment on the capital market. It has a volume of CHF 150 million.
